Mission Statement
We focus on centering congregational awareness on far-reaching to local area needs through supporting various in-house and community programs.  We provide financial and volunteer support for programs and ministry projects throughout the year on a monthly and as-needed basis.

Social Ministry & Community Links

ACTS- a community organization whose mission is to alleviate hunger, homelessness and domestic violence, and help people achieve self-sufficiency in the Prince William area.

CCOM/Drop-in Shelter- The Cooperative Council of Ministries that focuses on feeding the homeless in Eastern Prince William County.  As an extension of that Council, the Drop-in Shelter seeks to provide meals to those in need on a daily basis.

Boy Scout Troop 1396- The troop chartered by Saint Matthew's back in 1989, go check out their great website for more information!

Fellowship Square- a community-based foundation seeking to offer supportive living environments by providing housing and related services to low and very low income persons through various means.

ELCA Disaster Response- a community response program to empower, provide relief, and educate for future preparedness when disaster strikes a community.

Lutheran World Hunger- an ELCA-maintained program that uses multiple methods (relief, development, education, and advocacy) to address the root causes of hunger and poverty.
